PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 29 NENAK TEMBULAN KABUPATEN SINTANG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021 PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the effect of student thematic learning outcomes using the assignment method during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade IV SDN 29 Nenak Tembulan for the 2020/2021 school year. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, the variables are the assignment method as the independent variable and learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The population is grade IV students, totaling 30 students at SDN 29 Nenak Tembulan. Sampling used the saturation technique.The research sample were class IV A as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class, each class consisted of 15 students. Data collection techniques used  observation techniques, measurement techniques and documentation techniques. The data collection tools used observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, test questions, and documents. The data analysis the are two data were the technique of analyzing test questions and analyzing test results. The item analysis consists of validity test, reliability test, difficulty level test, and discriminatory power test, while the analysis of test results uses normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of research and data analysis in the control class obtained an average pretest value of 59.67 and posttest 61.00, while the experimental class obtained an average pretest score of 59.07 and posttest 69.67. The hypothesis test that has been carried out is proven that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) < that is 0.005 < 0.05 then H_a is accepted and H₀ is rejected,the conclusion is that there is an effect of applying the assignment method to improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 29 Nenak Tembulan, Sintang Regency for the 2020/2021 school year.
