Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of recitation methods on student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study were VA class students as the experimental class totaling 34 people and VB as the control class totaling 31 people. Retrieval of data through multiple choice formative tests, observation, and documentation. The gain test results (g) can be seen that there is an increase in the experimental class with the recitation method by 57% with the medium category. And in the control class with conventional methods a decrease of -27%. So it can be said that the recitation method can affect the learning outcomes of students in class V SDN 223 Bhakti Winaya Bandung.
